Both of them are to be cut off from their people.<\/em><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>There is also a very beautiful verse in Song of Solomon 4:12, which says:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p><em>You are a garden locked up, my sister, my bride; you are <strong>a spring enclosed, a sealed fountain<\/strong>.<\/em><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<h3><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">A splendid picture.<\/span><\/h3>\n<p>In His wisdom the Creator indicates hereby, through imagery, how valuable sexuality, which He has given people, is.<br \/>\nGirls are born as \u2018a spring enclosed\u2019, with sealed sexuality:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>think of the hymen.<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Sexuality is not only a physical experience; it has a spiritual dimension as well. This is why God warns against its incorrect use.<\/p>\n<h3><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">What does the image of the sealing represent.<\/span><\/h3>\n<p>Suppose you order a precious instrument from abroad, which you have first to pay for, before it is sent to you. When that instrument finally arrives in your own country it is stored in a sealed customs warehouse. Even though you are already the owner of the instrument, you will only be able to claim it after having fulfilled the required formalities. Only then will customs open the warehouse for you and hand the instrument over to you.<\/p>\n<p>This is also the way God intended sexuality to be.<\/p>\n<h3><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">Concerning authority.<\/span><\/h3>\n<p>Because the woman\u2019s sexuality is sealed, she is not free to do what she likes with it.<br \/>\nThe <strong>woman<\/strong> may indeed <strong>grant authority<\/strong> to break her seal, to the man who fulfills the necessary conditions.<br \/>\nA <strong>man<\/strong> may only break a woman\u2019s seal when <strong>he has received authority from her<\/strong>, because he fulfills the necessary conditions.<\/p>\n<p>Indeed, God gives clear conditions concerning this authority.<\/p>\n<h3><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">Concerning the conditions upon which the authority is granted\/obtained.<\/span><\/h3>\n<p>When God created man and woman He set the experience of sexuality within the protection of marriage.<br \/>\nHe considers marriage to be a covenant for life between a man and a woman.<br \/>\nIn the Bible, a covenant is always sealed with blood.<br \/>\nBlood flows here too, when the woman\u2019s seal is broken.<\/p>\n<p>The conditions of the authority are put into words, when God says in Genesis 2:24<\/p>\n<blockquote><p><em>That is why a man leaves his father and mother and is united to his wife, and they become one flesh.<\/em><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>This declaration is repeated three times in the N.T.
